Rack Room Shoes and Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse are two American footwear retail stores. Based in Charlotte, NC, I was a product copywriter on the Omni-Channel team, where I also aided in providing copy for the Marketing team as needed.

Product Descriptions

My main job was writing product descriptions for both Rack Room Shoes and Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse. The purpose was to provide details on specific products such as the material, embellishments, type of closure, heel height, dimensions, etc.

Marketing

During my down time from writing product descriptions, I was able to work with the marketing team, assisting with email copy, push notifications, text messages and providing copy for the Style Watch sections on both Rack Room Shoes and Off Broadway.

Social Media

Towards the end of my time at RRS/OBSW, I began to assist more with writing and editing copy for social media posts.
